The spacer prevents the PTFE tube from scratching the cover. However, as all the spacers I found were made of four individual parts or had to be glued, I created a version where you can attach two parts together with a dovetail and also detach them again. In addition, the spacers I used were all too big or too small. I therefore adjusted this spacer a little so that it fits me very well. I printed the spacer with PETG. Both my printer and the filament are calibrated. The left and right parts have to be printed twice each. There is a gap of about 5mm between the left and right sides to facilitate alignment and to compensate for tolerances during printing.
