Need a clean way to repair drywall without screws or mesh? Need it to be perfectly level for minimal joint compound/mud? Too many times I find that drywall fixes make uneven surfaces, so this is the fix you need. Please note it is a slower and weaker process since you'll have to wait for the compound to fuse the pieces together. However you'll spend less time sanding/smoothing because it will be level. The break screws have a designed weak point where it is 0.8mm thick or 2x 0.4mm extrusions. A perfect place to snap free. Only using a few grams of filament per screw. Simply bevel the drywall edges for a cleaner edge. Then slip the break screws between the corners and lightly tighten down. They firmly press in compound to fill in the gaps. Give it at least 12 hours to fully dry. Then over tighten the screws until they break. Reuse the tensioner and washer endlessly. Then continue drywalling it to perfection.
