This is a print-in-place hinge for Coleman coolers. The “PIN” version is designed to have the same opening stops that the original hinge and the “CONE” version stops at 90 degrees to reduce the stress on the screws holding the hinges on. There is also a version of the hinge without the "stop" that the original manufacturer's hinge has that may be useful for a different purpose. The CONE version of the hinge with a 90 degree stop was designed because I have a very large cooler with a heavy lid that if allowed to pass 90 degrees will pull the screws holding the hinges on out of the cooler. The CONE version is just as strong as the PIN version and is less likely to seize when printed. Print settings that I used were: Layer Height: .2 or finer Walls: 6 Infill: 75% Material: PETG or ABS is recommended for best results, however I have used PLA with acceptable results. If either hinge does seize when printed, reduce the layer height to increase the tolerance. (Updated with CONE version of the hinge on Sep. 30, 2025)
