The water screw, popularly known as the Archimedes' screw and also known as the screw pump, Archimedean screw, or Egyptian screw,[1] is a machine used for transferring water from a low-lying body of water into irrigation ditches. Water is pumped by turning a screw-shaped surface inside a pipe. Archimedes screws are also used for materials such as powders and grains. Although commonly attributed to Archimedes, the device had been used in Ancient Egypt long before his time. Print instructionsYou can print with any plastics. For the pipe, it is better to use transparent plastic for clarity of the screw operation . it may be necessary to process some places with a file. For smooth operation of the gears, they can be lubricated with silicone grease or any other. The layer thickness 0.2 - 0.3 . I printed my model with a thickness of 0.3. Use the support (touching bildplate) Build plate Adhesion - Brim . The model is large and takes a long time to print, so you can use a different scale. The top cover can be glued to make it hold more securely . I hope you like my model! Good luck!
