A wedding cake topper of the two of you
Sculpted from your photos, dressed as you will be on the day, and hand painted in time for it.
Your idea, made real
A cake topper that is actually you: the dress or the suit you chose, your hair the way it will be on the day, the real difference in your heights. We have had this request through our quote form, and it is one of the few figurine jobs with a date that cannot move, so this page covers timing as much as anything.
Most of the likeness is in the faces, but the rest is in the pair: who is taller and by how much, how you stand together, where the hands go. We take that from a photo of you side by side, and the skin tones and hair colours from daylight photos, because indoor light shifts them.
The outfits are sculpted from photos of the real thing. Lace, a veil, a fitted jacket, a bow tie: tell us what matters most and what can be simplified at this size.
A topper has to stand on its own on a soft surface, so it is designed with feet wide and flat enough to stay upright. You see renders before printing and can ask for changes, then it is printed in resin and hand painted.
The wedding date does not move, so this is the one job where you should get in touch as early as you can. The quote comes back within one working day with a lead time, and if your date cannot be met we will tell you then, rather than take the job and miss it. Allow for the post too: standard tracked delivery is two to four business days anywhere in New Zealand, and express is one to two.
No. Resin is not food safe, so the topper stands on top of the cake. Nothing printed should go into the icing, and the topper comes off before the cake is cut.
Yes. It is designed with feet wide and flat enough to stay upright on icing, and the balance is checked in the sculpt before it is printed.
Yes. Send photos of them the same way, and tell us where they should be in the scene. Each extra figure is sculpted from its own photos.
A natural, true-to-life figurine of a person from photos, with real proportions rather than a big head.
Each team member as a small figurine in company clothing, with copies for client or staff gifts.
Your cat, dog or other companion, sculpted from photos as they were at their best.
The two of you from photos, for an anniversary, an engagement or Valentine's Day.
