Just a simple old style water wheel, created as a replacement for my parents garden pond. The old one attached to their decorative display was made from wood and started to pull water and swell, so it was replace with this one printed in PETG, with spaces for 2 skateboard bearings. This will need a bit of assembly and possibly glueing. Non-printed parts needed: 32x M3 screws ~15mm2x skateboard bearings1x axle 8mm dia.(depending on your bearing)Print & Assembly: Push one bearing into each of the central_hub-parts (on the bigger end). Glue your 4 “wheel_segment”-pieces of each side together at the seams and push the “central_hub" part into the recessed area in the center of the side. Repeat this process for the other side. Push the smaller sides of the central_hub into each other, they should friction fit together, completing the main wheel. Next, attach the segment_bucket (paddles) to the wheel, by screwing an M3 bolt first into each side of the wheel (use the 3mm hole near the center) and then into the segment_bucket's bigger diameter hole. Repeat this process 16 times to attach all paddles/segment_buckets to the wheel and make it a lot sturdier. Finally, set the desired pitch angle of your water wheel by turning each paddle to the desired position. You can use short pieces of filament or small nails to lock the paddles into place using one óf the 5 small holes on each side of a paddle.
