I slightly modified the bearing, I made a little chamfer on the bottom and on the top to make it much easier to use it straight away rather then remove the edge on the bottom. I didnt want to have the chamfer too big becasue I want to use it in Prusa i3 frame where they just sit in rectangular holes and they need edge so they can sit good enough in the position UPDATE AFTER 4 YEARS! Bushings still fine. ABS, PLA . still the same. Quiet as much as possible and much better printing results than linear bearings. Print SettingsPrinter Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100 Notes: I adjusted the settings so that the printer uses only perimeters , it also makes it to print faster and they are full of plastic so they are strong. I prefer PLA , becasue it is harder then ABS. ABS wears out quicker, but still works fine. Post-PrintingStep 1. Take 8mm drill , and drill thru the middle , Step 2. Try it on 8mm smooth rod. If it slides easily its OK. If its too hard to slide go to step 1. Step 3. Once they are installed on printer and everything seems to slide relatively OK.
