this holder is designed to hold the standard 2.5 CM ( or 1 inch) bases used for miniatures in DND or other table top games. you will need a bolt or some-sort of screw with a nut going through the centre to hold the three pieces together. the mechanism at the top has bumps on the bottom of the holder part so that the pinch point is on the base itself, there are small notches in the grabbers to make sure the base of the mini doesn't come flying out when it is put under pressure. i would recommend printing everything standing directly up to minimize any support material required, the handle doesn't need any but the grabbers will need some for the small notches and such.
