[1/27/2026] – Update (v4) Increased top SMA pass-through diameter to allow full seating of the SMA nut (hex socket compatible) Added internal thread to the previously unthreaded corner through-hole [11/29/2025] – Update (v3) Widened SMA hole Widened Go Pro base mount hole [11/23/2025] – Update (v2) A new v2 of the Haven Case is now available. This revision increases clearance around the RJ45 Ethernet latch, making it easier to plug and unplug cables—especially when using ruggedized or thick-booted connectors. Included in this update: Haven Case Shell – v2 – Parallel x MorosX (.stl) Haven Case Insert – v2 – Parallel x MorosX (.stl) Haven Case – v2 – Step – Parallel x MorosX (.step) (editable source for customization and remixes) If you downloaded this model before today, grab the v2 files for the best fit. Thanks again to Trey at MorosX for making these improvements! [11/3/2025] – Initial Release (v1.0) Designed by Trey from MorosX, refined by Parallel, leveraging the OpenMANET project on GitHub. The Haven Case is an extremely rugged, modular enclosure for Raspberry Pi–based MANET radios leveraging the OpenMANET project and Wi-Fi HaLow (915 MHz) using Morse Micro chipsets. The enclosure design is 100% sterile and unattributable. These were printed in Fiberon PA6-CF20, the same filament that once took half a ton of pressure under my car without cracking or deformation. Enough said. Taps into the field tested and versatile GoPro mounting ecosystem; bypassing expensive molle strap systems while maintaining utility. The system includes two peices; a main shell and insert, designed for strength, airflow, and easy component swaps. It’s designed for open-source radio builds that need both durability and flexibility — whether you’re prototyping a field-ready node, deploying off-grid connectivity, or experimenting with decentralized networks. Built to keep powerful tech cheap, open, and fully in your hands — where it belongs. 🛠 Recommended Materials 🖨 Print Filament Fiberon PA6-CF20 or NylonX Carbon Fiber Filament For best results, print in carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon (PA6-CF20) for that dense, matte rigidity and heat tolerance that feels like mil-spec.
