The Dell T160 is too new (in 2025) to buy spare parts for it, and so, we cannot buy the Dell T5CVH part, which is the 2.5" tool-less non-hot-swap caddy for this server. It's sold with drive only by Dell. So I created this model from scratch in FreeCAD (this is my first ever CAD model, I never learned or used CAD before, sorry), based on measurements on the server, watching review videos on it to have a visual reference, and using the design principles of the 3.5" caddy and watching an 1 hour FreeCAD beginners tutorial on YT (many thanks to Deltahedra!). This is a substitution for the Dell part number T5CVH. I printed it on my Mini+ using Sunlu cyan PLA with the following settings: Perimeters 3Infill 25%Infill overlap 25%Retraction 2,2Extrusion multiplier 1,053 (printer left on default M221 S95 flow)For use with spinning hard drives or hotter SSDs I suggest using PETG instead of PLA for thermal stability. The best bolt type for the drive install is a flat-headed one, M3x6-8. If using D head bolt, head top maybe hang out on the sides. You need 90 degree angled SATA data and power cables. The cables must be angled upwards (opposite to the more common downward angled ones) because the drive is upside-down in this caddy. For the data cables Delock 84997, and for power cable Delock 60170 can be used.
